EXTRA, EXTRA, Read all about it!!!

I've written and illustrated a children's picture book about Bald Eagles!

The expected age range for my book is 4-10. However, adults seem to enjoy it and I think kids older than 10 may also enjoy it. This has been the most exciting and rewarding project I've ever worked on. It took me roughly 10 months to gather the photo's and knowledge and roughly 3 months to put it together. When I first started observing and photographing bald eagles, I had not at all thought of a book. It was roughly 6 months into my journey of spending hours upon hours out in the field watching and observing them when I realized I wanted to share my knowledge and excitement with others. It was that time when I knew I just had to create a children's book.

I'm so excited and proud of my work. I don't have my own final copy (copies) yet (they are on order), but I do have the latest proof and I can't seem to put it down! I really hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I am enjoying it!!!

The story describes the journey of two eaglets from being eggs in the nest to being juveniles who fledge into the world. The pictures coincide with the story.

If anyone is interested in getting their own copy, here is the link to do so. And if you see me and want me to sign it, I would be more than happy to!  :-)
