I’m so excited to officially announce the relaunch of my website — Debs Creative Images! 🥳
It’s been quite a journey behind the scenes, but the results are absolutely worth it. My goal was to make my site more current, visually engaging, and a true reflection of who I am — a wildlife and nature photographer, creative designer, and lover of all things outdoors.
The updated website now better showcases both sides of my creative world:

🦩 Sneak Peek: A Wildlife Adventure in Florida
To kick off this relaunch, I’d love to share a short story from one of my favorite past photography trips — a little preview of the kinds of behind-the-scenes stories I’ll be sharing in my blog moving forward.
Back in 2017, I took a week-long trip to Florida with a fully packed itinerary of parks and trails to explore in search of wildlife. The first stop on my adventure was John Chestnut Sr. Park — and it turned out to be spectacular!
This park had everything — from lush wetlands and open boardwalks to peaceful forest trails and plenty of wildlife waiting to be photographed. I spent hours photographing alligators, ibis, wading birds, songbirds, and even birds of prey.
Morning light brought out the golden reflections on the water, while late afternoons created deep contrasts and rich shadows — each time of day offering a whole new perspective.
The park had all the essentials for a day out: picnic shelters, restrooms, playgrounds, and beautiful spaces to relax between hikes. It was one of those rare spots where you can enjoy nature photography while knowing your family has plenty to do too.
I loved it so much that I went back several times during that trip — and it remains high on my list of places to revisit. Florida’s diversity of wildlife and landscapes is unmatched, and that trip reminded me how special it is to explore new habitats with my camera in hand.
