Lately my luck hasn't been so great, I sure hope things will turn around soon! After work today my plans were to get the lawn mowed and then head out to my parents to pick up Jasmine. Sadly I spent an hour on cleaning up the jungle in my yard and wasn't able to finish (a lawn that usually takes roughly 20 mins to mow). The lawn was too high and wet and the mower sounded like it needed a break. This was the second time I made arrangements to have someone mow my lawn while I was away and sadly the second time that I came back to a huge mess. I think my trips away will have to be shorter for now on so I don't have to depend on anyone else  :-(

Finally, I made it to my parents and Miss Jasmine was very happy to see me and the boys. I stayed there for a bit so the boys could visit with their friends (my parents two chihuahua's). Because today's big event was "picking up Jasmine" after a week without her, I thought it would be nice to make her the subject of my blog. I first figured out what was wrong with my camera last night and fixed the problem, then I took some picks of my girl. Now, would you believe, my card reader is not working and I'm not able to get my pic uploaded to my system and uploaded to the website. So, here it is... my blog with a promise to post the pic tomorrow after I purchase a new card reader! Be prepared to see my "old lady". Jasmine, who is now 15 1/2 yrs old. Born in Italy and flown to the U.S. almost 15 years ago!

Sadly, I realized tonight that it was my memory card that went bad and I don't think I'm going to be able to retrieve the pic I got of my girl last night.
