After being snowed in all day yesterday, I decided to go out and enjoy some of Mother Nature's beauty today. Although it was beautiful out, I was dealing with a few other factors that made it not so pleasant. Between the frigid cold weather and the fact that I was up sick all night last night, I was nothing more than cold and exhausted. And still not feeling so well. On the upside of things, I did get a couple of good pics. Only a couple though because it was far too cold to stay out and take any many. 

I made two stops. First at the Mid-Hudson Bridge then to Awosting Falls. On my short hike down to the falls I ran into some friendly people and chatted for a bit. Once I got down there, I was impressed with the sheer beauty. The contrast of the dark rocks with the white snow and the iced over falls was incredible. No matter how cold and horrible I felt, it sure was worth the trip!
