October 1, 2013 - Day 56

Oh my, I just realized how long it has been since I've posted. I know I've promised you all a couple of posts a week and here it has been a couple of weeks since I've posted. Things have been really busy and I haven't really gotten to my blog. Plus, it didn't help that my general purpose lens was broken. I wound up sending it back to Canon to be fixed. That in itself was a bit of a fiasco. I put my boyfriends address as the return address thinking that it would be delivered here with no problems. Well, that wound up being a huge problem as I had to be here in person to sign for the package and I couldn't do that because he doesn't have internet, therefore, I am not able to work from his place. I wound up having to drive over an hour to Plattsburg to go pick up my package.

Anyhow, things are going well between Jim and I. The kids have been back to school for the past few weeks, so that makes things a little more hectic. We are now on a bit of a schedule and the evenings wind up coming and going before I even know it. There really isn't much free time.

My lease was almost up on my car, so I recently went car shopping. My original plan was to get a Mazda5, but the salesperson was so horrible that I decided to go to the Dodge dealership. I went there with the intention to look at the Dodge Voyager, but the sales guy listened to what I was looking for and took me to see something completely different. I wound up looking at a Chrystler Town and Country Sport. My first thought was, "oh no, I'm not driving a mini van". But then I started looking it over and was amazed by all the features and space. The sales guy took us for a ride to show us how well the car really performed, then let me drive it. He even sent us home with it for the weekend and I must say, by the time Monday came around, I didn't want to give it back. Whoever would of thought, a minivan would handle so well and actually feel sportier than my Mazda3. I fell in love with it pretty quickly. And from the drivers seat, you would never even guess that it is a minivan.

Here is my new ride!
